What is Henna?
Henna is a plant that is used to make different types of dyes, usually for hair or skin, on the skin it is used like a temporary tattoo that lasts 7-14 days. Henna tattoos are created by mixing henna powder with lemon juice, essential oil, sugar, and sometimes coffee until you get a toothpaste like consistency. The mixture is put into a bottle or cone and then used to draw the tattoo.
Once the tattoo has been drawn on you need to let it dry, dry time can vary depending on the weather and climate you are in. Once dry it will begin to crack and eventually flake off leaving behind the design.
